Typographic Poster: Spring 2019
I designed a large-format, multi-fold program-poster announcing SAIC’s School of Architecture, spring 2019 Lecture Series. Researching the speakers’ architectural output yielded valuable insights to aid the formulation of a “thematic blueprint” to advance my visual thinking.
After analyzing the copy, I visually differentiated the content to emphasize the importance of hierarchy and meaning. I experimented with creative ways to arrange and elevate the data sets by exploring organizational approaches appropriate to my theme.
The Poster acts as a blueprint in itself and uses architectural elements such as lines, grids, nails, maps etc as visual indicators for the context of the lecture series.
